Good News:

Every once in a while, a good shot in the arm is needed.  As of late I've been in the dumps, wondering if I am improving as an artist, should I give up because I don't have what it takes, or should I just assume fetal position with my hands over my head.  So what a treat it was when I was informed recently that one of my paintings, "Grazing The Hilltop," was selected for inclusion in the 14th Annual Exhibition of the American Impressionist Society!  Over 1600 entries were submitted, so I indeed feel fortunate to have my work selected.  The show will be held at the M Gallery of Fine Art in Charleston, SC from September 28th through October 30th.  Ironically, I've had several offers to purchase that piece since the notification, but I've had to decline so I can add this show to my resume and hopefully garner some interest and publicity through exposure with AIS.  You can check out the details here:

Oh, and please excuse me as I get up off the floor, unkink my neck, stretch my arms and get back to the easel.
