Beautiful beds of peonies, irises and other flowers adorned the backyard of a home in a small urban town. I was doing a one day art festival there and decided to stretch my legs. An alleyway off the main street where the exhibition tents were set up led me to this refreshingly bright encounter. I then did this piece as a demo at the gallery where I was Artist-In-Residence.
