"Farmhouse In Spring"

It's amazing the things you'll stumble across if your eyes are open to seeing them.  On the way to a "paint out" a friend happened to glance out the side window as he drove not two miles from my home.  This old brick farmhouse had survived the encroachment of development (one of our city's major shopping malls is less than a mile away) and had held on to it's turn-of-the-century charm (and I don't mean this century!).  We ditched our plans to "go" on a paint-out and focused on the visual feast that was nearly in my own back yard!
