"Sun On Surf"

My precious wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary on the Left Coast.  She lovingly served as “trip driver” so I could shoot photos to my heart’s content (after I gather that I made her nervous trying to shoot pictures and drive!).  This was a scene that I’ll always remember, where we sat in the sun on the soft vegetation, feeling the strong winds blow salt spray into the air until it was a mist that we could smell.  Oh, the wonder of God’s Creation—and a memory that we’ll always treasure!  It's one of my "safe places" where I retreat mentally when the pressures of life attempt to overwhelm.
