Searching for an old covered bridge on a county road, I ended up on a dead-end gravel lane instead. Turning around to find my way again, I glanced through a clearing in the trees to see this little scenario. Intrigued by all things country, the old shed looked like a lovely handyman's getaway, probably full of tool and wood. I painted the shed more reddish-orange and the grass more yellowish than I actually saw for the sake of the color harmony it created. It was fun to throw little touches of red and blue around the painting to help toward that same harmonic goal.
