"Into the Gorge"

Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve adjoins John Bryan State Park in the Yellow Springs area.  At one narrow point in the chasm Simon Kenton was said to have kept the gorge to escape a group of Indians in pursuit.  Other parts, like that shown, are deep and wide, making for better scenic views than harrowing leaps.
