"Pumpkin Partners"

For years (decades?) my sweet wife reminded (the N word?) that there were more colors God had created than blue, gray and brown, the predominate players in my many wildlife paintings.  Accompanying the irresistible pull toward Impressionism my eyes have opened to see brilliant, saturated hues that now spark my imagination!  To be honest, I used to hate orange.  Now I seem to see it everywhere, like in these isolated pumpkins.  I almost drool with anticipation of mixing slippery piles of yellow-orange, orange and red-orange to portray the awesome reflected light in the rear squash!
