"Outdoor Still Life, 2"

When the sun shines and the weather is delightful, it's a treat to set up a still life outdoors and paint in the natural light.  That's how this piece started, but eventually photos that I took of the set up inspired me to give it another go.  I'm much happier with this effort than the original plein air study.

Juried into and shown at the Ohio State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition (a statewide completion with less than 7% of entries accepted) during July and August, 2018.
