"The Curtain Closes"

Sucker-punched by the setting sun, I viciously (kinda) pulled to the side of the road to capture this end-of-day image.  Forever for me, it seems, the gratitude for another day lived combines with the realization that this day will never be again to make sunsets emotional heart-grabbers.  So for today, "Thanks, God," and farewell, solar light and heat source that "just happens" to be placed carefully close enough yet far enough away to make life here on Earth possible!
